The Glasgow Craft Mafia, in conjunction with the Creative Entrepreneurs Club at The Lighthouse, Scotland’s Centre for Architecture, Design and the City have launched a new, exciting and unconventional indie market, right in the heart of Glasgow’s mainstream shopping hub. Made In The Shade (a slang phrase, popular in the 1950s and synonymous with guaranteed success, or a truly swell situation) launches in Gallery 5 of The Lighthouse, Mitchell Lane off Buchanan Street on Saturday 24th May from 10.30am – 5pm. A double celebration, the 24th May also marks the first Saturday of The Lighthouse ‘going free’ and the launch of their tours, workshops and events programme for families and individuals!
